If I Were President for the Day....(Writing Activity)

Have students finish the sentence, "If I were President for the Day, I would...."
Encourgage students to think about what laws they would pass, how they would run the country, etc. Collect all sheets and combine to make a class book.









President's Day Making Word Activities


Have each student write the letters in PRESIDENT at the top of the page. Have students then number their paper from one to ten. Have students brainstorm as many words as they can find within the word PRESIDENT.


February Ideas


Read the book, Lilly's Chocolate Heart with students. When done, have students do a writing activity called, "I would put my chocolate heart in....." Have students finish the sentence and illustrate with a picture. Put all pages together and cerlox as a class book.
